I resigned from my previous company in September 2011, my husband was then asked by Remedi medical aid scheme to forward my letter of termination from my previous med aid. This was done and was forwarded through to the medical aid with other required documents. A few months later only discover nothing was done. The last straw was when I was asked to go for a medical examination before anything can be done. I am now on the medical aid (15months later) but with a waiting period. On the 26.02.13 I got very sick and couldn't even use the medical aid. My husband received his pay slip with R1300 short due to medical aid arrears. This is truly pathetic. Your lack of customer/patient care leaves much to be desired. I can't believe that such a massive company has such TERRIBLE record keeping and poor communication skills. Whether we were on the highest or are on the lowest option, we don't deserve such unethical treatment!
