Since November 2012 I have been struggling to get Hosmed to pay claims for stoma appliances.
Everytime they just told me service not authorised, and i have sent them the chronic medication authorisation with every claim I submitted, but still they dont received it.
One moment they did received the claim and is being processed, and next time i phoned, they cant pick it up on the system.
The call centre gives me a different e-mail address everytime i phoned, and even told me, they are not supposed to forward the documents to the right department o.b.o the member. How are we supposed to know where to sent it, if they dont even know.
The drs wont give any more appliances because they are not getting any payment.
