Netcare
"Medical Condition"

My Husband and 10 mnth old son needed a dr on Easter Monday (1 April) and because all GP's were closed we had no choice but to go to the Clinton Hospital. The Dr who was supposed to look at my son didnt touch him, asked us whats wrong with him and told one of the sisters there to give him a valoid suppositiory, she opened it, dropped it on the floor and still gave it to my son. Same thing with my husband, only he got an injection. When we asked what was wrong the Dr couldn't tell us, he had no idea. Just booked my husband off work and wrote "medical condition" on the sick note and wrote a prescription which we were too scared to get. We then took my son to a GP yesterday and they said it was a HUGE mistake to give a 10 mnth old a valoid suppository, he even got a box of them to check the leaflet inside which states in BOLD that its not for children under the age of 6, he then informs me that my child could have gone into a coma!!! BE CAREFUL!!! Don't ever see the GP at Clinton Hospital!! What a waste of our money we will never get back!!!
