During January 2013 my 2 year old daughter had fever continuously and her school would phone me constantly to come and fetch her. This continued for two weeks that I had to take time off of work. On 18 January 2013 I took my child to the Clinton Clinic in Alberton to see Dr Kriel. We spent the day from 8h30 to 16h00 at the doctors rooms, as we waited for a urine sample from my child. My daughter was after treated for slight bladder infection but said she would send urine samples to the lab for further testing. On 24 January the school phones me to come fetch my sick child. I tried to phone the doctor but she was not available. I then emailed her on advise. Dr Kriel phoned me at approximately 16h45 and instead of helping me and giving me advise, she freaked out because I had the audacity to send an email to her. I found that they never submitted the urine samples and blamed me for not taking it to a "lab" On 4 February 2013 my child was admitted to Sunward Park Hospital for severe bladder infection, dehydration and serious bronchitis. What kind of medical practitioners is Discovery using? All this pain, sleepless night my child had to go through could've been avoided.
