If you're considering joining this medical insurance, RETHINK IT. Yes it IS too good to be true. Cost effective, all the promises - one would think it's WAY better than medical aid. Please know, this plan is completely OPPOSITE and a waste of money. After our first claim against a GP visit and medication, it has been a complete nightmare just to have that small amount paid. Then my husband was referred to a specialist - EVEN WORSE! The specialist referred him to hospital for a small op, which of course was DECLINED due to being a pre-existing condition before we joined the plan - even though we weren't aware of his condition. With other words, if you now have a tumor which you are not aware of, join the plan and only a year later you find out you have a tumor - just know that they WON'T cover a thing relating to the tumor.
The feedback and support is absolutely disgusting, they couldn't even inform us that the hospital authorisation was declined! Prepare to spend hours on phones to these people - you have to call in 5 times or more before something gets done.
I want my policy cancelled and all my money less medical expenses back, this has been worst experience ever!
