When my family and i left for breakfast on the 22 Jan 2012, i left my wedding ring on the pedestal next to the kettle, before i left the room i saw it their an took it for granted that it wont go missing. On our way checking out an getting our things together i saw my ring was missing, my family an i then checked behind the pedestals, bins under the beds, every where nothing was found! I then called the reception, which she told me she will notify management! After a week still no responses. I then called in an the manager told me that the receptionist was to call the security an housekeeping an to search the room an write a incident report, that was not done, at this point i was already furious because the correct protocol was not followed. He then told me he will speak to the next in-charge, as she has called me back advising me she had questioned housekeeping about the matter, this was now three weeks after the incident! My next visit to the Caledon Spa Hotel, i then approached the manager again and asked him what they going to do, which he couldnt help me, an that was 3months later after the incident! The feedback that i received is pathetic, the ring is sentimental value.
