Shocking customer service at an unsafe hotel

We planned to spend one night at the Vaal RIviera hotel. We left the room for half an hour when we returned the room had been broken into and the safe which was not bolted to the wall had been removed. In the safe I had left my wallet with money credit cards drivers engagement ring and garnet ring. The value of everything was R30 000.We advise reception who called the police, the general manager and security manager. There is camera footage of 3 males leaving the reception area with our delsey bag which contained the safe. They were not questioned by reception or by front security, they left the hotel on foot. It was confirmed by police that they broke in through a side window. We claimed from our insurance and decided to claim the rest from the hotel>it has taken them 6 months to reply that we have no claim against them but they will take us to court if we continue to write reviews. We never once got a courtesy call to see if we were fine or even a refund for the night that we didnt spend there. Two words in my opinion describe this hotel shocking customer sevice and no security. A very bad experience for us.
