Yesterday I experienced some of the rudest, untrained, unproffessional staff while at the Riverside Spa. I was actually at the Salon and witnessed 2 incidents of rudeness to salon staff before I was directly impacted. first the bad mannered receptionist compalined in front of a client abt him him being on the phone. Then she complained abt him sitting in "her' waiting area. She then compalined abt my 8 year old son being escorted by salon staff for a glass of water while he waited for his food from the hotel. we teavelled 3 hours from Richards Bay. When I aked her if there was a problem, she would not even let me speak. She told me I need to understand that people come here to get away from kids. I did not take kindly to that. She then sent the owner Piere van Zyl the salon. He barged in, no excuse me, into a salon full of people shouting, who's looking for me, I am the owner. He came back 1 hour later pointed his finger at me telling me i must speak to him not his staff if I have a problem. I do not want any contact with him or anything else cos I would neva associate myself with such a low class establishment. It is ppl like this that give the SA hospitality a bad name.
