Shocking attitude, disrespect and bad hair cut from Amanda Lourens of Giovanni Battista.
The owner and staff of the salon are professional and friendly, but when I complained to Amanda Lourens that I am not totally happy with a haircut she has done asking her to correct it, she started shaking and became agitated saying that correction is impossible. Then she angrily messed up my ironed straight hair with her hands and said that I should go. She charged me R1090 without any apology and I left shocked and distressed. I never heard of any respected salon treating clients this way! Later on the phone I asked her how she could act towards me so badly especially that I am a client of the salon for many years, but she answered that: "everything that comes from my mouth is an insult", she said it in the way that the staff at the salon could assume that I was insulting her which was not true. I was a client of Giovanni Battista for many years and I should be able to express my opinion about quality of service. I didn't deserve to be treated this way. In my opinion Amanda does not cut hair well at all, but she is not used to hearing honest opinion.
