After receiving a beautiful Groupon voucher from my husband for the above salon, i booked my nail treatment for 2 Saturdays past. On the morning, I received a phone call to say the Nail technician was off sick. Fair enough i re-scheduled for the following Saturday.
I did not receive a phone call that morning, so I assumed all was good. I travelled the distance to the hotel (Nelson Mandela Rhodes Hotel in CPT) arriving half an hour early, only to be told the technician is not there. I asked to see the appointment book and showed them my name and asked why did no-one call me? I then asked to speak to the Manager (who was not at the shop) and had to phone her from the salon. After a back and forth, the technician said i can wait there until 3pm. (My app was for 1pm) so i kindly said, thanks but no thanks!!
Now to try and get my money back, because according to the salon owner i need to contact Groupon for a refund. and she doesn't have anything to do with it.
Never will i ever refer anyone to that salon!!! Highly irritated and disgusted at the non-chalant attitude i received.
