Really disappointed that not all Vitality members can benefit from this. I am not a Discovery Health customer but have both Discovery Life and Insure policies. If I did use Discovery Health, I would probably be on a plan that would qualify for the benefit - does that mean I fit the economic bracket that qualifies for this benefit? Probably. Is the rationale for limiting this benefit based on how much you pay Discovery each month or to extend the benefit to those in the upper economic bracket who predominantly shop at Woolworths? If it is the latter, I submit that I should be allowed to benefit given that I shop for all my fruit and veg at Woolworths and "fit the bracket". Sadly, I suspect it is the former.

I think Discovery should give some serious thought to opening this benefit to all Vitality members as from 2014. Surely all members should have an equal opportunity to benefit from this and to choose where to shop. You do not need to join Discovery Health to join Vitality. The benefits to Discovery from their members eating healthily apply across the whole range of medical plans as well as to life plans. Why not stand behind the concept of the Vitality scheme?
