I stay in Ruimsig Johannesburg and went to my local chemist at Link pharmacy Ruimsig shopping centre. I am a stage 2 Diabetic and normally buy my Antagolin tablets from this chemist at R113-00. A month later the same pharmacy is charging me R220-00 for the same pills, now my chemist gave me the suppliers name and telephone number which is Alpha Pharm tel: 012 845 0400. My question is: How are we being ripped off and over charged if pills which is a necessity for most of us are increased well over 100%, now I ask you what sort of margins are these people making on these pills? I think it is daylight and I also think somebody should be held accountable for this. I just don't know where to report them because it actualy feels like a crime.
