I am so tired of this! I have been a member of Discovery Health since 2011 and paid my monthly contribution every month. But when I truly needed them for what I pay them they basically told me to go f@$& myself. My daughter had to see a paediatrician in Feb 2012 and I jumped through all their little hoops, waited for weeks to get an authorisation number and then when I took her, they paid nothing. After a year now they finally agreed to resubmit the claim and they will pay it to the health care professional, but I already paid them!! January this year I had to see a gynecologist and once again I jump through their little hoops, got the authorisation and again they told me to go f@$& myself. Every time I phone them they have some excuse about why it hasn't been paid and what hoop I have to jump through now to get it done. I spoke to them on the 01/03/2013, 08/03/2013 and again today 13/03/2013 and spoke to a very rude and unhelpful woman named Glory or something like that. I am now absolutely sick and tired of this. Why the am I paying these people. I will be taking this up with the medical aid board!!!
