This was my worst stay ever, what a nightmare at Mountain View Country Estate, in Parys, Free State!
He mailed me to say that it's a big tar road to his place... I had to drive 800m on a small dirt road full of mud!
The lock of the door where broken!
No toilet in room, toilets on other side of the house!
Shower & washbasin not to standard!
No hot water, I had to stand in shower for 5min to get a little stream of look warm water!
No soap in room!
Towels old & dirty!
No cleaning of rooms or fresh & clean towels the next day, not even on request!
No TV in room!
The bead was old & broken!
I ask the "so called owner" for towels, cleaning and soap, he refused!
He was rude, unprofessional, aggressive, no client relations and arrogant!
It end up in a argument, I pushed him aside as he become very agitated as I demand my money for the second night back, to look for better accommodation.
He called the police and still refused to pay back my money!
I strongly recommend everyone to first call the tourist office in town, as this seems to be his way of conducting business and what we experienced at Mountain View Country Estate was not the first complaint they received!
