My son had his wisdom teeth removed on friday the 08.02.2013
Firstly: There was a terrible smell in the day ward, the kitchen is right there where the meals get prepared, when asking the sister they didn't know and said they think it is the drain
Secondly: My son was returned from Theatre to the ward where the physiotherapist was waiting, she never gave my son a chance to come round when she started the physiotherapist, and he was very irritated at the time as he was still trying to come out of the anaesthetic. She just merely just carried on, he was begging her to let him sit up and she didn't want to know his story, she was actually quiet rude and should not be in that profession if she can't deal properly with the patients. The other patients she attend to had time to recover from coming out the anaesthetic.
Thirdly: Not one sister or nurse came around to the patients after they came back to the ward to see if they needed anything or if they are okay. Another patient's mother had to ask how many times for the jelly and custard. They just stayed at the desk
Really think this service is unacceptable, we pay a lot of money for which we expect good caring Service.
