My sister was booked into Garden City Clinic Sec 4 on the 18/05/2013 to have her Gall bladder removed. The admission process was completed excellently. However, at around 11am on this day, my sister being a diabetic and not being able to eat anything since the night before 10pm wasnt feeling well at all and she could distiguish that it was related to her Sugar being too low. She called one of the nurses and enquired wether it was at all possible for her to have some sort of cracker just to help with the way she was feeling. The nurse in turn approached the Sister in Charge of the ward at the time, and explained the situation to the Sister, who in turn told the nurse to go tell the patient that she must take a walk to the theatre and stand at the theatre door and ask the doctor doing the operation on her if she can have a cracker. I was shocked at the Sister in charges response, i feel this is unacceptable behaviour for someone in a senior position.
