I Have sent a termination of membership request on the 22 January via my e-mail due to the fact that I have commenced a new job and a stipulation of employment is that i become a member of the staff medical scheme. I received acknowledgement of receipt of the query and since then I have received nothing. I phoned through on the 05/02 and the call centre agent informs me that nothing has been received or logged on the system. In the meantime Bestmed has debited me a premium for the month of February. My new medical aid company is pressing me for a previous membership certificate and termination confirmation. The call centre agent promised to call me back today but not surprisingly that call did not come
