I was greatly dismayed when I saw this. The Vitality Carry Over points that were of great benefit to me, have been discontinued. I am a busy man and do my utmost to maintain my diamond status. I don't understand how Discovery is able to change the terms and conditions of the Vitality Agreement as they please. Would I buy a vehicle under a maintenance plan which changes sporadically to decrease the benefit I signed up for? Your blurb stating that this is to "help me become healthy" is unpleasantly patronizing.
Remember that the CPA Part E Point 29 (a) and (b) states: A producer, importer, distributor, retailer or service provider must not market any goods or services in a manner that is reasonably likely to imply a false or misleading representation concerning those goods or services or in a manner that is misleading, or deceptive in any way, including in respect of the nature, properties, advantages or uses of the goods or services.
Changing the conditions of your agreement with customers is! llegal. This does not bode well for me as a client heavily invested in all areas of Discovery. You are rapidly reducing the attractiveness of Vitality and Discovery as a whole.
