I'm starting to lose my patience with discovery and the fact that I cant choose another medical aid is what irks me the most. First of all, I received confirmation of membership on the 18th October 2013 and to this day I still haven't received my card. After numerous calls and emails and being told the card is on its way. the last I checked delivery was supposed to take 6-8 weeks, that time has long elapsed and nothing. Printing the membership certificate costs money, and im the one who has to pay. Secondly I need to know why after 3 weeks my new-born hasn't been added to my medical aid, I requested discovery to add her as another dependant on the 26th and 3 weeks later she still hasn't been added. One would think a 4 week old baby would be taken as high priority, now I have to live everyday crossing fingers that my daughter doesn't get sick. We pay exorbitant fees and for what exactly because it doesn't seem you can meet basic needs such as card delivery and add dependants.
