We booked a one week stay at the Edward Hotel last minute, using a 3rd party provider. We booked on Thursday to arrive Sunday 22 Dec 2013. We specified our requirements that we need provision for baby triplets and that we will be arriving after 4pm. The porter ignored us as we drove to the entrance. He saw the car then commenced a chat with his co-worker. We struggled to park and he did not guide us in. Check in was somewhat slow. We arrive at the room to find that no cots or mattress have been provided for the babies. We phoned housekeeping who then sent a mattress. Housekeeping then asked if we need linen. If we stay in a hotel, we expect linen. We found that we had to request extra towels. Only 2 bath towels were provided. Our requirements were not logged. We had to put the same request daily. No cups were provided to make tea or coffee. The amenities were not replaced daily. Almost empty shampoo containers were simply wiped and left back in the bath. Room service was super slow. It took almost 1.5 hours for our meal to arrive. We were charged for hotel parking. Skytrax tracker shows they parked my car elsewhere. They moved my Audi Q7 after hours without advising us.
