Huge delays in refunds and poor service

I went to the dentist at the start of December and paid the bill myself directly to the dentist. I submitted the dentist's bill along with a copy of the lab bill (for inlay and crown manufacture) to Momentum Health almost immediately after. Momentum settled only around R5k of the R7.5k from my savings but claimed there was a code mismatch between the dentist's and the lab. After weekly frustratring calls to inept call centre operatives I finally speak to a supervisor that told me what code they were actually looking for. I then asked for and received a new invoice from the lab and dentists with the revised codes. I resubmitted this at the start of January by email. I phoned weekly to try get progress on the claim and all I was told it's been resubmitted to their dental management company for approval. At the end of January I get my statement sent to me and I noticed that they've marked the claim as illegible. I knew it wasn't and the call centre agent agreed. Not sure why they didn't contact me before to say they had a problem reading it but it was because they faxed it to themselves and the printer wasn't up to par.
It is the 1st of February and I'm STILL waiting. Sick and tired!
