On the 31st of july my child went to hospital for a dental procedure. I went thru the trouble to get authorisation nrs etc. I had to make a co-payment when I got there. Then I was told everything else is fine from the medical aids side. Then comes September and I get a bill from the dentist, because the medical aid wont pay the bill. When I contacted discovery I was told that the dentists invoice was wrong. So discovery said they will contact dentist to sort it out. I received a call a day later to notify it was sorted out. Then come end of November I get a call from the dentist to say it is still outstanding. Again I contacted discovery without great success. The answers I get I " we will get back to you ", " we cant tell the dentist what correct codes to use on the invoice ", " I, the customer must sort it out with the dentist". Yet come every 1st of the month I pay my premium, but when its time for them to help nothing happens.
