We are currently members of Fedhealth and have been on the scheme for over 10 years. Due to financial issues we wanted to downgrade our medical aid to a lower plan. Because we have to downgrade before the 30th November I phoned 3 weeks prior to that and requested a consultant to come and see us as we didn't know which plan to downgrade to. I phoned another 3 times requesting this and no joy. I eventually selected a lower plan as the time ran out, but still don't know if we chose the right one. Its over a month now and still no one has contacted us. I find it shocking that they are quite happy to take our money every month but have no interest in trying to assist us in choosing the right plan. Even though we have downgraded now without assistance we would still want someone to come and see us and explain how the plan works that we have selected.
