I phoned two times and spoke to Lawrence
I explained to Lawrence that payment was made by myself for blood tests for my son Benjamin when I personally accompanied him to have his blood taken in Potchefstroom. The amount of R 1577.50 was settled by myself immediately as I am in the habit of not leaving any outstanding accounts ever. I also wanted to know from Lawrence the reason for the discrepancy between the two amounts.
It turns out as explained by Lawrence that my son (who in school and away from home in Potchefstroom) also had blood taken by Dr van der Colf and sent for testing one week prior to my taking him.
The issue is now as follows. I was not aware of any other or previous blood tests requested from Pathcare by Dr van Der Kolf nor have I instructed or contracted with Pathcare for the mentioned tests. As such Pathcare should not request payment from me but instead from Dr van der Kolf. In turn I am more than happy to come to an acceptable arrangement with Dr van der Kolf.
