Poor service at Radisson Blu Port Elizabeth

On Saturday night, 30 November 2013, we booked in to the Tabu restaurant at the Radisson Blu, Port Elizabeth, for dinner to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. I have never experienced such poor service from any restaurant I have ever been to. The service was shocking. We waited an hour for the drinks to arrive and a further hour and a half for the food to arrive. My wife ordered a margarita which took over an hour to arrive. despite numerous complaints the service did not improve. All we got were apologies. My lamb shank was virtually inedible - looked warmed up by microwave. The bar area adjacent the the restaurant was having a raucous party with very loud music which made it impossible to have a conversation at the table. We booked there as I have had the best service from Cape Town Radisson Blu. What a mistake. Never again. Avoid it like the plague!
