Our family has been with Liberty for many years, and until recently we were very happy with their service (and were referring everyone and anyone to them). However, they have now completely and utterly destroyed that trust that we have built with them. Reason being: they have decided that regardless of what the contract states, and regardless of what is advertised on their website their radio ads pamphlets... Liberty will not allow adult dependents over the age of 27. Example: My mother is the primary member, I am an adult dependent (26 yrs), and my brother is a child dependent (24yrs). Now, Liberty are trying to bully me into leaving my mother's medical aid cover and become a principal member. Why = They don't actually CARE about their members... they just want as much of your money as possible. I find this in very bad taste, and intent to get an attorney to look at the legal framework of the contract, and then escalate the problem to the media ombudsman.
