Medical Cover - not adequate!

I pay over R3200 a month to Discovery Health. I am on the Classic Comprehensive package.
I had a procedure done IN hospital, and they will not pay the full amount of the anaesthesiologist.

There is an outstanding amount of R456.30 which they refuse to pay. On the invoice from the anaesthesiologist it states that "This is a PMB procedure which must, by law, be fully paid by the medical aid. ICD-10 Code: N87.9"

For the amount that I pay them every month, that they refuse this payment is just appalling. I was not given a choice of anaesthesiologists when I was in hospital. As per my package, all in-hospital charges should be covered.

This is totally frustrating & unacceptable. I now know why so many people complain about Discovery.
