My wife had an accident on the 18th of July in Springs and was hospitalised in Netcare N17 Springs. I arranged for her transfer to Waterfall Park Hospital with Netcare 911. Over the phone, I was quoted R4408 by a Netcare Consultant. However, I later received an excessive bill of R7788.55 from Netcare 911 accounts.
I disputed it with Mr Northnagel who then dismissed my issue by confirming that the consultant was wrong but I remain liable for the full amount. I indicated to him that I will only pay what has been agreed upon (R4408) and not the invoiced amount, which I have subsequently done so.
Netcare has not discussed the issue with me any further but keeps on sending me payment reminders.
Please assist.
