Claims Department Disgusting Service Delivery

After 8 years i finally decide to have my second baby. So excited that finally i can use my medical aid for something. My biggest mistake ever, i should have done my research first! Since day one i have had issues with Bankmed Claims. Either they do not pay the claims and wait for me to follow up. I have never received a courtecy call if there is a delay in payment or if they are not going to pay however they have sifficient time to send you a letter that takes one week to arrive to tell you "hi, we are not paying because there is not member number" why not just pick up the phone. i have complained numerous times and whenever calling the call centre i am advised to send an email to [Email Removed] but still no one replies. There should be a law or the CPA should be involved this is disgusting. I am 37 weeks pregnant and sick of Bankmed, i jsut want to ahve my baby and be done with this poor service. Again i submitted a claim on the 11th November, received and email to advise i will be paid and then today receive short payment and who had to pick up the phone to resolve, ME! Only to find out they need a motivation for claim, but they said they will PAY? Wasting time
