In January 2014 I will be starting employment at a new company which requires employees to be part of their medical aid scheme.
As such I requested cancellation of my cover with Momentum Health from 31 December 2013. I submitted the relevant documentation and received back correspondence stating that my cover would be cancelled from 30 November 2013.
I e-mailed Momentum again, requesting a correction of this error. I received correspondence back stating that my cover would be cancelled from 30 November 2013.
31 December 2013 - not 30 November 2013.
This is an enormous waste of my time and until I receive a swift resolution to this matter, I cannot advise anyone to engage with Momentum Health.
Your health may be your life. A similar error to mine, made by the admin staff, may cost your more than a few e-mails and time.
