We booked for a 7 night stay at umhlanga sands hotel recently! When calling to book they asked us to pay the full amount of the accommodation within 24 hours as the room we wanted to book was the last room available for the week! So we paid the full amount in 24 hours as asked! Then upon arrival at the umhlanga sands, I asked the receptionist if she could assist us on a certain room we wanted and she could not have even bothered as she was so unfriendly and was not willing to help us at all! The following day we had an emergency at home (bearing in mind were from jhb and now in drubs) we had to rush home! Only using 2 nights of the 7 that we paid for! When asking for a refund no one was willing to help us! When calling the call centre all they said was that we should call back in a couple days and they will try get us a refund! When calling back they said that the week was so dead and that it's one of there least busiest times of the years??? So we paid a large amount of money and all we got was UNFREINDLY SERVICE and a lot of money down the drain!
