I registered for the maternity programme that Momentum Health boastly advertised, thus the biggest reason why i took out this hospital plan. I made an appointment at a gynae closest to me to which the Momentum Health consultant recommended their Drs that work in the momentum Health plan. I was sent a bill recently first from the gynae and then from Ampath. I was informed my Dr did not use the right code (pelvic scan) instead of a pregnancy scan.. a pelvic scan is used to see the growth of my unborn baby. I argued with 3 brokers who keep replying to me stating i am liable for the costs. why does Momentum so boastly advertise this maternity programme with 2 scans btw 8-24 weeks, 12 antenatal visits etc. and then BOOM!! i get billed for this, I say this is FALSE ADVERTISING, .what is the maternity plan for dogs!!! With pups? I took out a maternity plan that's pays for nothing.. they only collect? NOBODY STIPULATES THE DO'S AND DONTS, CODES AND NONSENSE! This whole maternity programme is a big, I am not doing this just for myself, im doing it for all the other pregnant women who have to stress about these unexpected bills?? Ive been waiting 4days for a response from Momentum?
