I was accepted for a job with carnival via palatino recruiting, so i payed the R2800 for admin and later on, nearing the months I was due to depart, I payed R10000 for my one way ticket which they promise a full refund for. It's been four months now and Melonie has made so many empty promises. The day I called her to tell that I will not be going anymore because I got another job she told me she had just put my paper work through the day before (how convenient). I only want my ticket money but that is still proving difficult to get. She has made one excuse after the other and now she has disconnected all her contact numbers. Before she did that I was chasing after her and told her that based on what she had said i had used money I was not supposed to have used and she said she would pay me with interest but four months later there's still no money in my account. I would just like to warn everyone against Palatino Recruiting, if you want to work onboard a cruise liner try other agencies and not this one.
