I am digusted and there is more to tell

Happy to finally have my mums glasses done she has problems with her eye sight she lost her glasses a week later, paid for cash there was no way to know she would lose her glasses. As a customer i believe there should be a warranty or guarantee on such purchases I was never told that because we are not high end clients, spend an high amount on high cost frames or lenses we do not qualify for any insurance nor was i advised i could ensure it or encouraged to do so at the store now my question is and i asked them with no proper response are low end customers suppose to know that they do not qualify seeing that they do not have a good enough balance paid for their glasses in other words if a pensioner for example saved up to purchase glasses and lost them then came to the store to find out if there is anything yours could do for them would this be your response to this person you do not qualify for the Spectacle Replacement Warranty is because they don't make margins on all frames that are R490 and below, due to that they cannot afford to pay the insurance company R114.00 on your behalf to insure these spectacles. 80% replacement warranty is subject to the purchase of lenses and frame
