My Spec broke after I fell - same day i went "blindly" to spec savers at Wonderpark and they gave me a free trial pair of contact lenses to tied me over until I make an appointment and got some specs. I made the appointment for a week later 13.06.213. I had the eye test and during this I time I complained that the contact lenses are causing me alot of discomfort, including an eye infection and very dry eyes and I cannot see properly with them".. I was given a quote after choosing some frames and told by the two young girls that it normally takes 7 to 10 working days, however because my case was an emergency, they would call ahead and even put on the job card that this was an "Emergency"... I have now called twice myself and still my glasses are not ready.. I was told by the optometrist Penny, when I complained again about the eye infection from the contact lenses to stop wearing them... DO THEY NOT UNDERSTAND what it is like NOT TO SEE and also not to have my glasses ON TIME.. Not once was I called by them, and ONLY now am I told that it could be because the lenses are made overseas.. If this carries on for ONE more day I will cancel the glasses - VERY BAD SERVICE!
