I am disgusted with this Medical Aid. They not sticking to the benefits that they have listed on the brochure.
I am a Member through my Husband and currently in my 2nd trimester. I am consulting through a Midwife at Linkwood Hospital and also been seen by a Gynecologist only 2 times in the pregnancy.
I love Midwives because they give good advice on and how to be when a woman is pregnant. They take time to explain exactly what is happening when one is pregnant.
My issue with Medihelp, is that they are refusing to pay any claim i put through from an Accredited Midwife and who work at a reputable private Maternity/ Antenatal hospital. They always have stories of why they not paying for bloods, and we have a benefit that will cover those bloods. They wont pay for any consultation and we have 12 antenatal visits due to us.
Now, they want us to tell them, how much my midwife will charge for the delivery and then they will tell us how much Medihelp will pay.
How is it that we do not skip paying any premiums with them but now that we need Medihelp so much, they not coming to the party.
