Yesterday I made an appointment for 11:15am to see a doctor. I arrived 10 minutes early to make sure I was on time. I waited until 11:40 and asked the receptionist how much longer I must wait and how many patients were in front of me. I was informed that there was still another patient in front of me that hadn't seen the doctor yet. I asked Why I was not informed when I arrived that the Doctor was running late and they "forgot" to inform me. This is the third time this has happened. What is the point of making an appointment if you can't stick to it?
I was furious at the lack of communication. It wasn't that busy as the receptionists had time to play on their phones but not to tell me the doctor was running late. After chatting to a few colleagues and friends, it seems that this is a common problem with Randburg Medicross.
