My whole family have been patients at Medicross a Parow for at least 10years. Sometime having a medical aid and sometimes not, but always going their because Dr Bester is such a excellent doctor. Being in a fortunate position of applying for a medical aid I phoned to make a appointment to have the medical report done. First told Drs don't do reports weekends??? Flabbergasted I had to take time off work to have this forms completed. Made appointment for Monday afternoon only to be told that I must pay the R461.80 upfront and claim back from medical aid, why did no-one tell me this when I explained why I had to come see the doctor. I must really consider my supporting a institution with service and policies like this...
