I bought two holiday vouchers from someone over the phone. After receiving the SA Getaways vouchers we phoned them and want to use it. The vouchers read "this voucher entitles two adults to COMPLIMENTARY Getaway accommodation..." and "... 10 nights complimentary accommodation.." the surcharge referred to on complimentary accommodation shall cover sundry charges, VAT and meals whether taken or not, subject to menu prices, or hotel conditions." After a lot of struggle, no replies on mails or telephone calls - I threatened them and all of a sudden they sent me a confirmation. The confirmation was for R460.00 per person per day for MEALS AND DRINKS!!! When phoning the "manager" Faieka at SA GETAWAYS she confirmed that I have to pay for accommodation, meals (BREAKFAST AND DINNER) and drinks - I asked her if wine is included and se replied only cooldrinks! I phoned the hotel and they confirmed that their meals BREAKFAST AND DINNER costs only R320.00 per person per day!! NO DRINKS IS INCLUDED!! Why do we have to pay for something they gave us on the voucher complimentary! What is the difference in R320.00 and their quotation of R460.00???
