I constantly have trouble with Medihelp and they refusal to pay medical claims, regardless of whether the correct procedure is followed or not. I recently received a bill from Lancet for a claim which was paid a year ago, but Medihelp recently reversed the payment for no apparent reason. This was an in-hospital procedure, for which pre authorisation was received, and the tests were performed by a designated service provider (Lancet). The call centre agents cannot give us a straight answer as to why the payment was reversed and they seem to have a "not my problem" attitude.
This medical aid is not worth the trouble anymore.
