Aug 2012 I got a statement from Lancet showing that I owe them R2066 for a biopsy that was done in hospital on 18 July 2012. I phoned because my medical was supposed to cover this. medical aid informed me that Lancet had the wrong date on the claim from and also didn't have the auth nr on the forms. I phoned Lancet to inform them that, to which they replied that they will resubmit. In Nov 2012 I got another statement for bloodtests for my husband and this amount appeared again on the statement. I phoned them again to which they replied that they HAVE resubmitted the claim 25 Sept and waiting for medical aid. on 3 Sept THIS YEAR, I got an sms saying I have been handed over to ITC-BA!!! i phoned them immediately, and they said they will note a dispute on the hand over. i phoned medical aid and they said they never received resubmission, i phoned lancet to send me the proof of resubmission, i am still waiting for that. WHEN I ASKED WHY THEY HADNT PHONED ME IN A YEARS TIME ABOUT THIS, I WAS TOLD THAT THEY DID PHONE ME ON 8 JANUARY AND I DIDNT ANSWER PHONE (HELLO THE NUMBER SHOWS PRIVATE- SO HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO PHONE BACK, OR WHY WAS NO MESSAGE LEFT???) IT IS NOW 8 MONTHS LATER
