I paid an amount due to the hotel with a credit card. The hotel staff records all credit card detail and imprints the card placing their clients at risk of by trying to safeguard themselves. Safeguarding is not a problem but becomes so if at the cost of a client. Even more suspicious is that the payment made on the speedpoint has not after a long period of time gone through my account for reasons unknown. The matter was discussed with the G M who was very nice. I am however still exposed to processes of possible due to the manner in which they operate. I find this unacceptable and will have to reconsider the use of Protea hotels and prokard membership.
