Do not expect Groupon to honour vouchers or refund

Herewith a synopsis of my difficulties and barriers in dealing with both The Cradle and Groupon.
On the 10.11.12 - I purchased the deal below.
11.01.2013 - I contacted TheCradle re a booking for the 26th to the 28th March 2013.
11.01.2013 - I received confirmation of my booking from TheCradle. (see below)
15.03.2013 at 15.46 pm I received a voice message to contact Jennifer at TheCradle 011-659-1622 and was told that TheCradle will no longer honour my Groupon Voucher and I must contact Groupon for a refund. I told Jennifer that this is not acceptable or in fact lawful, as they had confirmed our stay with them and now they a week before we are due to arrive cancel with no thought to the customers. Jennifer then explained that the old owner had left and that there was a new one I could contact. I than asked her to get the owner to contact me as I was the one who was being inconvenienced and she said that she would. No feedback was received.
