I had an incedent on the 14th of July 2013 where I got bitten by a dog (chow cross lab) the cuts were very diep and as per my policy states i must do in a emergency"In an emergency, go straight to hospital." and to confirm it was an emergency according to my policy "A medical emergency is the SUDDEN and, at the
time, UNEXPECTED onset of a health condition that needs IMMEDIATE medical OR surgical treatment, where failure to provide medical or surgical treatment would result in serious impairment to bodily functions or serious dysfunction of a bodily organ or part, or would place the person's life in serious jeopardy " SO i did go to the hospital rooms as i had to go and get stitches (just to find out they dont give stiches with dog bites as it can cause infections but they still had to treat it meaning clean it and wrap it up and had to give me a tetinus injection ans meds & im sure we ALL know why i had to get one RIGHT? - because dog bites can cause infection/rabies or it can even lead to gangereen which is a serious matter... i really though i was covered as it states so on my policy just to find out NOTHING was paid as if the dog bite exprerience wasnt bad enough NOW THIS???
