The doctor instructed me to go onto chronic medication for cholesterol however Discovery has declined it and will not cover it. What is the purpose of having medical aid if they cannot cover for something so important. Now I must pay for the medical aid every month and the chronic medication for the rest of my life unless I change my medical aid provider.
They will not cover it as I do not have hyper tension but why will the doctor suggest that I go onto it if it was not serious. I am utterly disappointed with the service. I want this to be relooked at and feedback provided before close of business tomorrow.
