Hello Peter,

It is with a heavy heart that I must complain about the completely lackadaisical approach that is adopted by Pharos Medical Plan with regards to their Pharadigm Benefit Scheme. You see, 8 months ago (Yes 8!!!) I signed up to be rewarded for going to Virgin Active. Sadly this has NOT transpired despite me qualifying to get a certain percentage of my gym membership fee back on numerous occasions. Having reached the end of my tether I finally decided to confront these unscrupulous rapscallions about their unethical ways. I was told that I have to go to Virgin Active and request my attendance history and submit it to them (mind you, this is precisely why I pay an additional monthly fee of R110.00 for) and my my account would be duly credit. My biggest gripe is the fact that NOWHERE in their contract or promotional material did they EVER suggest that there would be running around by me to be done. What annoys me more is the fact that in 8 months NOBODY in that entire organisation was bothered to make the connection that I'm being charged for something that they aren't holding up their end of the bargain for!!! This conduct is surely reprehensible and utterly repugnant!!!
