Seems like bookings just disappea

I was looking for accommodation for the long weekend in Aug and came across this website. [URL Removed] .It was a well structured and user-friendly site. I then requested a quotation from several places and they all went through effortlessly and quick. I then spoke with my partner and we decided upon a B&B and requested an second quote for a more luxurious room just to compare and crunch some numbers. My original quotation (number) was overwritten, ergo if I had to do the payment confusion would have settled in. I did actually make payment in time as there was a due date for a deposit to be made for a booking to be kept.
Apparently doing a cash deposit at an AUTOBANK is not ample enough. What of people like me who prefer not to use credit cards? I kept sending emails to get a reply on whether the payment was received. Only long after the due date of the reservation did I receive an email requesting a deposit slip, just to get the reply that it is not sufficient. I did receive my deposit in full, but I will never make use of Lekkeslaap again and will not recommend it to anyone.
