On 28 March 2013, I rented a vehicle via the internet site and paid my deposit online as requested. I received a quote with a reservation number. On 29 March, I went to the collection branch, in Benoni, as indicated on the resevation. Thinking they were late to open, I waited for almost an hour. When I contacted the cental reservation, I was told that that branch did not open on that day. I had to make other plans to get to OR Tambo (what an inconvenience). At O R Tambo, they took my credit card and took a further R5300 deposit. I returned the vehicle and had to wait about five days to get my balance refunded. I then noted that the charge was not in line with the resevation quotation. It was about R3000 more than the quote. I have since written to them twice to query, but to date, they have refuse to respond. Neither about my inconvenience, nor about the overcharged and unbudgeted R3000. I find them very cruel.
