Discovery HEalth reversed payment of a portion of a hospital acoount after paying the account in full. The reason stated was that only 3 days of ICU was authorised and that no motivation for extra saty in ICU had been received.
The motivation letter had been sent by the reputable physician while my mother was still in hospital. Why would a doctor keep a patient in ICU without reason. My mother was dying, she needed to be in ICU, Discovery was happy to pay initially and a motivation letter had been sent - WHY REVERSE IT.
Discovery state that they have not received the letter. why is the letter neccessary?
