On 10/7/2013, my player card frustratingly malfunctioned. I dumped it in a bin, and went to buy a new one.
All three ATM machines in the smoking section were out of order. The only machine in the non-smoking section had a long slow moving queue (mainly elderly people on a bus tour).
I complained to casino staff about the poor customer service. I enquired why they could not dispense cards via the cashiers, as they have done in the past.
I was advised that one of the machines in the smoking section was now working, and I should go there. After inserting my money, the machine responded with an out of order notice. I again complained about the poor service as I had to re-join the long queue.
Poor customer service at the Golden Horse Casino seems to be the norm, and includes some cashiers who are very slow and lethargic to say the least, cleaning staff who have to shout at one another when communicating, machines that are frequently out of order.
To avoid these frustrations I will rather spend my time and money elsewhere taking care to avoid establishments associated with Tsogo Sun.
Don't bother contacting me because I have had enough of this incompetence and will not be swayed.
